I worked on Neo Berlin 2087, where I was responsible for the cinematic lighting across all narrative scenes, as well as the overall world lighting.
My role focused on crafting a strong cinematic mood that supports the story, emotions, and atmosphere of the game. I handled lighting for the cinematic trailer, ensuring visual consistency between cinematics and in-game environments, while maintaining a high level of realism and artistic direction.
This included:
Full responsibility for lighting all cinematic scenes
Designing and implementing world lighting to match the narrative tone
Establishing lighting continuity between gameplay and cinematics
Enhancing mood, depth, and storytelling through light, contrast, and color
Working closely with art direction to achieve a cohesive futuristic visual identity
The goal was to deliver a visually immersive experience that strengthens storytelling and elevates the cinematic quality of the game.
